Coat of Arms opened its doors in 2006 in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The first of its kind, COA was the only menswear boutique to offer iconic deadstock apparel and accessories from an era when NY street fashion was reflective of Hip Hop's golden era. As the original pioneer of 90's NY street vintage, Coat of Arms single-handedly brought back the snap back cap as a staple accessory. Such was the impact of Coat of Arms, that it now reflects in every established brand's offering, and caused the revival of old and forgotten brands such as MCM, Starter and African American College Alliance. Since then, boutiques all over the world, have brought the Coat of Arms vintage/deadstock concept to their own cities, and major mainstream retailers are now offering throwback inspired apparel and snapbacks in mass abundance.

Because vintage/deadstock has moved into the mundane mainstream, Coat of Arms is keeping with its innovated nature by moving past its original concept. We are now very proud to be offering our own collection of menswear and accessories including a footwear collection, which is all exclusively available at Coat of Arms in the Lower East Side.
